When I meet someone for the first time, I almost always get the same questions: Why did we create The Heritage Process™ (THP), and what exactly does it do for individuals, families and non-profit organizations?

The 'why' is easy: recent studies, plus our own experience with thousands of families, show that nine out of ten inheritance plans will fail. And when they fail, families are torn apart, and lives are destroyed. As for the wealth that should have benefited generations of heirs (and the causes in which they believed), the money is almost always gone in three generations, or less.

That is why we created The Heritage Process. Its purpose is to be a bridge between traditional planning (which talks a lot about money, but not much about people) and the united, healthy family that most people would like to leave as their most significant legacy.
