Membership with The Heritage Institute

The Heritage Institute (THI) provides training and support to financial, legal and non-profit professionals who are committed to helping individuals and families share both their financial and their moral net worth with the people they love and the causes they support. The Heritage Process TM developed by the Institute is an original and comprehensive supplement to traditional planning designed to help people achieve those goals.

Why was such a process needed? Because nine out of ten inheritance plans fail. Most planning focuses exclusively on minimizing taxes and passing as much money as possible to heirs. And yet, in interviews with thousands of clients over two decades, no one has ever told us that money is the most important gift that they wish to leave to their heirs.
