Rod C. Zeeb, Co-Founder

Rodney C. Zeeb graduated Summa Cum Laude from Willamette College of Law in 1986. Rod is Co-Founder and CEO of The Heritage Institute, and co-author of Beating the Midas Curse (2005).

The Heritage Institute provides consulting, training and tools to individuals and families– and their professional advisors–who want to pass both their values and their valuables to future generations.

Rod’s law practice encompassed business, financial, estate and retirement planning, estate administration and probate, real estate, and related tax issues. He earned a reputation for being able to explain and illustrate complex planning strategies and concepts in understandable and entertaining ways, so his clients could understand and implement them.

Rod is sought after as a speaker on The Heritage Process™ and other legacy planning topics. He has presented at events sponsored by numerous organizations such as American Cancer Society, Northwest Medical Teams, American Heart Association, Boy Scouts of America, United Way, and the Association of Fund Raising Professionals.

Rod has been recognized by The Esperti Peterson Institute for Global Wealth Strategies Planning as an Advanced Wealth-Strategist Planner, and a contributing author of Giving – Philanthropy for Everyone: Practical Answers from America’s Foremost Charitable Planning Authorities (Quantum Press, 2003). He is a member of the Oregon State Bar, National Committee on Planned Giving, and Northwest Planned Giving Roundtable.

Rod is active in many church, charitable, and community organizations. He enjoys golf, skiing, and other activities with his children, Christina and Ryan, Ryan’s wife, Kristin, and his grandchildren Alexa and J.D.
