Clients Forever!

The introduction to The Heritage Process TM - 1 day

Learn the options available for Heritage training, collaboration, or certification. You will discover why this ‘3rd element of planning’ is the best model for ensuring multi-generational planning success.  You will also see how this process fits with the other elements of planning to foster long-term family unity, prosperity, individual accomplishment and charitable involvement. This academy is very interactive, and is packed with information that you can put to use in your business immediately.

Enrolling Academy

Enroll prospects and/or centers of influence - 2 days

You will learn an enrolling conversation and techniques that you will use to enroll prospects and/or centers of influence.  Although this curriculum was first developed to enroll individuals, families and other professional advisors into The Heritage Process™, it is applicable to professional advisors no matter what services they offer.  During this academy, you will develop and practice enrolling conversations and techniques that allow the prospect/client to identify their vision and needs to fill that vision, which allows you to provide a solution to a gap they have identified, rather than trying to sell them on a product or service you would like to provide to them.

Building and Facilitating Collaborative Teams

Build and lead teams of advisors- 2 days

You will walk out of the Collaborative Teams academy with the knowledge, training and  practical experience to be able to organize and facilitate a team of professional advisors. You will understand the dynamics of the process, you will be able to keep your team focused on achieving the best outcomes for the client,  You will know how to communicate the value of true professional team collaboration to your clients and colleagues.

The Heritage Process™ - 2 days

During this 2-day Academy you will receive both the introduction to The Heritage Process™ described in the Clients Forever Academy, plus the practical experience of preparing for and completing a Guided Discovery Interview.  Then, you will learn the various entry points and models for integrating Heritage Planning into your existing practice without disrupting what you already do well. 

Transformational Philanthropy

Build deeper donor relationships- 2 days

“Transformational philanthropy” - a gift that has as profound an impact on the donor who makes it  (and often their family) as it does on the organization receiving the gift.  The transformation occurs not as a function of the size of the gift, but instead as a reflection of the passion behind the gift. During these two days, you will learn how discovering the passions of donors and helping them to fulfill those passions through philanthropy creates transformational philanthropy.  Then you will learn how philanthropy can be developed and sustained for multiple generations with multi-generational planning that nurtures the family’s commitment to ongoing philanthropy. Finally, we will examine the impact that transformational philanthropy can have on your practice and the organizations the donor supports.



Family Focus Forum

An Introductory 1-day Family Meeting – 1 day.

To move a client(s) to personal significance the advisor brings INSIGHT, PERSPECTIVE, and WISDOM to the client’s thinking.  Coordination of these three elements is the primary focus of the Family Focus Forum. The advisor will lead the client(s) through a process that allows the client(s) to think differently than they have in the past and have a unique experience that will not be forgotten. This will be an experience that will lift them to a higher and better level of conducting their family affairs. Getting the client(s) to respond from the perspective of their soul takes special exercises and questions from the advisor!


Encompass

Dissolve Traps And Open Opportunity – 1 day

The EnCompass Resources Peak Performance Process, developed and lead by John Cunningham, M.A teaches the embodiment of confidence and success. This patent pending technique enhances your ability to be at your best in working with families, clients, along with better addressing moments of upset or distress. This process will demonstrate a positive shift in self-esteem, techniques for adjusting mindset, and creating compelling outcomes for yourself and others. Past participants report an immediate and sustained increase in revenue and introductions.

Heritage Statement

On-line Training Academy to assist in writing an effective Heritage Statement

For planning to be effective over multiple generations, your client’s story, life lessons, values, standards, principles and vision must be preserved in a way that can be passed for many generations, and will be relevant for many generations.  You will learn the elements that are necessary for an effective Heritage Statement, and how to outsource this work to provide the best result for both your client and your practice.


Heritage Days

Initial and Ongoing Heritage Days – 2 days

The Initial Heritage Day and Ongoing Heritage Days provide families with the tools and structure that is the difference between the 10% of families who are successful in keeping their family and assets together for multiple generations and the 90% who fail.  You will learn how to facilitate these family meetings, and to mentor the families to continue long after you are gone.

Exercises

Learn exercises to use in all types of family meetings – 1 ½ days

You will learn how to organize and structure a family meeting, and then learn and practice several exercises you may choose to use at those meetings.  The course materials include descriptions of over 35 exercises you can facilitate for families.



Year 2

The Mentoring Year Between the Initial Heritage Day and first Ongoing Heritage Day – 2 days

You will learn how to mentor each generation to create an intentional tradition that continues long after you are gone and provide families with the tools and structure that is the difference between the 10% of families who are successful in keeping their family and assets together for multiple generations and the 90% who fail. 



Family Fund

Creating and Operating a Family Bank/Family Fund – 1 day

The process of developing a Family Bank is one of the keys to long-term success of a multi-generational strategy for promoting family unity and development. By properly applying the principles the family financial legacy, as provided for in the Heritage Statement, can be achieved and maintained across generations.  We will focus on three critical areas for the family, the objectives of each and ways to structure them for success:  Capital Accumulation, Family Advancement, and Legacy Participation.
